Watercooler: The Forecast for Mr. Sunshine

If you hadn't heard — the screams of those irate Cougar Town fans were quite loud — Matthew Perry returned to series TV last night on Mr. Sunshine. And since almost every outlet known to man has run a review of his new sitcom about the misanthropic manager of a sports entertainment arena (mostly unkind assessments of the reworked pilot, the forced writing and the abusive decision to squander Allison Janney as his pill-popping boss), we decided to peek into your tweets about the show to see if there was anyone who liked this thing. And it turns out, there was!

Nice 2 see Mathew Perry, but have 2 admit the nicest thing about #MrSunshine was turning the TV off after so I don't see #OfftheMap at all;)

Of course, some of you were less than friendly about the former Friends' first network comedy since the Bings and company bid us adieu. In fact, some of you were total Gunthers!

I tried to watch #mrsunshine. Cannot watch A. Janney play a drugged up, bigoted, stupid character. Not after seeing her as C.J. Cregg.
