ABC Sets V's Return Date, Announces New Skating Series

V will return for its sophomore season on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 9/8c, ABC announced Friday. The sci-fi drama, which stars Elizabeth Mitchell and Morena Baccarin, focuses on the coexistence of humans and supposedly friendly aliens (aka Visitors) after the lizard creatures arrive on Earth. The second season will focus more on lizard reveals as well as the Visitors' mythology, the network said.

ABC also announced that the two-hour series premiere of Skating with the Stars will air Monday, Nov. 22 at 9/8c. The new a reality show will pair celebrities with professional ice skaters, and the duos will perform for judges in front of a live audience. Skating's all-star cast will be revealed on Nov. 2 during the Dancing with the Stars results show.
