Trevor Noah Returns to Daily Show After Surgery -- But There's Just One Hitch
He won't be jumping for joy anytime soon
Trevor Noah will be back in action Thursday night on The Daily Show.
The host was out of commission during last night's episode after an emergency appendectomy early in the morning. Noah tweeted the update, saying that the'll be back, with the caveat that he "can't stand up."
Thank you for your love and support. The Daily Show is back on today but I can't stand up. Tune in 11pm Comedy Central.
He also tweeted a joke back to the accident-prone Jimmy Fallon, who sent him a get-well message after his surgery.

The Leftovers star Regina King is set to be Noah's guest.
