The Closer9/8c TNT Season 6 of the top-cop series continues with the first of a two-parter tonight. 'Tis the season to get sleuthing when a feud results in a stabbing on Christmas Eve and the death of a patriarch, a turn of events that could ruin the squad's holiday plans. Particularly irked is swell belle Brenda Leigh Johnson, since her parents (Frances Sternhagen and Barry Corbin, in their recurring roles) have arrived for the holidays and come bearing major news. Mary McDonnell reprises her role as Capt. Raydor. The conclusion airs next Monday.
