Ugly Betty
8 pm/ET ABC
It came as a surprise that Daniel's paternal instincts weren't all that bad, but now that his parental tenure is over, he can get back to what he knows best: Tomcattin' around. Tonight, however, it's another source of wonder that he opts for a matchmaker, rather than his default reputation as a playboy, to find companionship. Meanwhile, Betty worked overtime last week to patch things up with Gio, and now she's turning a page in her rivalry with Kimmie (Lindsay Lohan) by helping her find a job. — Joe Friedrich

Hip Hop Awards '08
8 pm/ET BET
Katt Williams takes the reigns once again as host of BET's third annual celebration of hip hop. Leading the pack of nominees are Lil Wayne with 12 nods, Kanye West with seven and Jay-Z with six. Russell Simmons receives the night's big honor — the "I Am Hip Hop" Icon Award — and joins the ranks of previous honorees Grandmaster Flash and KRS-One. And since the night's all about music, the performances are abundant. Common, Lil Wayne, Ludacris and N.E.R.D. are among the scheduled acts. — Brie Hearn

Big Movie Premiere: High School Musical 3: Senior Year
8 pm/ET TV Guide Network
Movie premieres don't get much bigger than this. High School Musical 3: Senior Year, the highly anticipated third installment of Disney's wildly popular High School Musical franchise, opens in theaters tomorrow — the first of the three films to debut as a theatrical release. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the movie that includes a preview of the film's songs, plus interviews with cast members Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale. — Jennifer Sankowski

Grey's Anatomy
9 pm/ET ABC
The Hot Docs may make "medical history" (as the promo for tonight's episode puts it) in the ORs, but in the loooove department things are sputtering, as usual. Last week, George's thoughtlessness toward Lexie was jaw-dropping. Maybe she should take a hint, but it doesn't seem as though she will. And Ellis Grey's diary opened a hint of a wedge between Mer and Der. Don't expect tonight's fallout from last season's brain-tumor study to close it. Also, Callie needs sex advice. Who better to go to than Sloan? — Paul Droesch

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
9 pm/ET CBS
Jorja Fox departed the series yet again last week, but her vacancy creates room for a new series regular. That would be The L Word's Lauren Lee Smith, who plays Riley Adams, a nonconformist CSI who is also a bit of a flirt. As for tonight's investigation, the team probes a series of bizarre deaths in which the victims are found frozen in place, some standing upright, doing ordinary activities. Bizarre. But then bizarre is normal on CSI. — Tim Holland
