Lights, camera, action! The third-season premiere of this music-filled comedy finds the band making a movie. In no time at all, Nat starts following that acting cliché of falling for a costar (Miranda Cosgrove, playing herself), while Alex faces a romantic dilemma of his own: He has to kiss skateboarding pal Juanita on screen. On top of this, the director is a bully, and Rosalina is sabotaging her performance. As the gang soon learns, the real drama on a movie set occurs behind the scenes. — Jennifer Sankowski

Saturday Night Live
11:29 pm/ET NBC
The late-night laugher has raked in towering ratings this season, likely due to the show's practice of mining comedic gold from a scorching political season, not to mention Tina Fey's dead-on recurring lampoon of Sarah Palin. (Climate change is "just God huggin' us closer," according to Fey's Palin.) It's only fitting then that tonight's host is Josh Brolin, hot off the heels of portraying George W. Bush in the Oliver Stone film W. Oh yeah, Palin will finally make an appearance tonight. On the music stage: soul-pop songstress Adele. — Dean Maurer
