The Big Bang Theory is upping recurring guest star Mayim Bialik to series regular, Deadline reports.

Bialik, 34, first appeared in the Season 3 finale as Amy Fowler, a quasi-love interest for Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

The former Blossom star's contract is for the current season only and does not stipulate that she appear in every episode, according to the site.

News follows last month's promotion of Melissa Rauch, who plays Howard's girlfriend Bernadette.
