Exclusive First Look: Go Behind the Scenes of NBC's The Wiz Live

There's less than two weeks to go before NBC will air its live production of The Wiz, and TVGuide.com has an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the production, which stars Queen Latifah, Uzo Aduba, David Alan Grier and newcomer Shanice Williams (a "soon-to-be superstar," according to Latifah) as Dorothy.

"It's an iconic role, and I just have to give it 1000 percent," Williams says in the preview.

The clip gives us a glimpse at the signature number "A Brand New Day" from a dress rehearsal, as well as the intricate costumes ("I could rob a bank and they wouldn't know it was me," Grier says of his Cowardly Lion getup).

The Wiz Live airs live on NBC on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 8/7c.
