But not everyone is returning full-time
The Conners isn't going away anytime soon. ABC announced Friday that the Roseanne spin-off has been renewed for a second season.
John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Ames McNamara and Sara Gilbert, who also serves as an executive producer, are all coming back for the new season. Per Deadline, Michael Fishman is also expected to return for new episodes but won't be sticking around full-time next season.

The Conners follows the eponymous working-class family as they deal with ongoing issues like financial stress, dating and addiction in the wake of Roseanne's (Roseanne Barr) death. The sitcom is a spin-off of the Roseanne revival which was canceled last year after Barr sent out an offensive tweet comparing former Barack Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, a black woman, to an ape. Barr agreed to cut all financial and creative ties and has not been involved with the new series.
The Conners is expected to return to ABC this fall.
