Has Meredith Grey Been Shot? Watch the New TGIT Promo to See for Yourself

There's a lot to process in the new TGIT promo, but only one thing that's truly freaking us out: Has Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) been shot?

In the sneak peek below at the returns of Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder, we see a bloody Meredith lying on the floor of Grey Sloan Memorial and later being administered an oxygen mask. But Shonda Rhimes wouldn't really hurt Meredith too much so soon after killing off Derek, would she? (Yes. Yes, she would.)

Grey's star Kelly McCreary, who plays Meredith's half-sister Maggie, confirms our worst fears, telling TVLine that Meredith does indeed find herself in peril in the midseason premiere, which airs Feb. 11 and is directed by Denzel Washington. "Meredith is attacked, and it is as terrifying and as shocking as you would expect for it to be," McCreary says. "In this case, she's physically impaired in a way that she has not been before. ... As bad as things have gotten for Meredith, this is bad in a whole different way."

Yikes!

Also featured in the promo is Scandal's Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) apparently hiring OPA and How to Get Away with Murder's Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) getting a baby, which she is not too thrilled about, mind you. Check it out below.
