Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel have separated after 10 years of marriage, Peoplereports.

"Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time," reps for the couple said in a statement to the magazine. "Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time."

Diggs (Private Practice) and Menzel (Glee) met while working on the original Broadway production of Rent in the mid-1990s. They married in 2003, and welcomed a son, Walker, in 2009.

Diggs most recently guest-starred on New Girl. Menzel's voice can be heard in the Disney animated film, Frozen, which is now in theaters.
