Tamar Braxton Welcomes First Son

Tamar Braxton is the proud mom of her first baby, a son, she announced on Twitter Thursday.

"Friends, he's finally here," Braxton wrote, with a picture of three blue teddy bears, "It's a Boy" balloons, and sunflowers, taken in what appears to be a hospital suite.

The Tamar & Vince star, 36, announced her pregnancy in March on Good Morning America when she was seven months pregnant.

She has hinted that she and husband, Vincent Herbert, have had fertility problems. "Vince and I [were] told we were going to have fertility problems -- it was a lot of information -- so we had to get comfortable with the fact that it happened on its own," Braxton told People in March. "We decided [not to announce the pregnancy] until we were both really okay with it -- that's why we waited."
