Supernatural Exclusive: Go Inside Crowley's Addiction in New Behind-the-Scenes Video

The King of Hell took a major hit last season on Supernatural. In fact, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) quite enjoyed taking hits once he got addicted to human blood.

But as always, Crowley found a way to turn this obstacle into an advantage. "Crowley didn't choose to be addicted," producer Robbie Thompson explains in an exclusive video from the Season 9 DVD. "But I think the true genius of Crowley is he's the best improviser. ... Once he was victimized by it, he took that and was like, 'OK, how do I use this to my advantage?'"
