Supergirl Has Cast the Villain Non -- But There's a Twist!

Kara will be facing a foe from her home planet this season on Supergirl.

CBS' new drama has cast Chris Vance as the Kryptonian villain Non, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The character previously appeared in the first two of Christopher Reeves' Superman films as the muscle-bound, somewhat slow-witted henchman of General Zod, though his latest incarnation seems to be taking a bit of a different direction.

Supergirl's Non is a former scientist with the House of El and a brutal Kryptonian military officer who stands to become the heroine's biggest threat.

Vance previously starred in Transporter: The Series. He joins fellow guest stars Iddo Goldberg,Glenn Morshower, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Brit Morgan, Peter Facinelli and Chris Browning.

Supergirl premieres Monday, Oct. 26 at 8:30/7:30c on CBS.
