Thanks, Netflix!
International Trekkies will not be left out when CBS' new Star Trek series premieres next year, thanks to a partnership between Netflix and the network.
The streaming service and CBS announced Monday that Netflix will be the home of Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman's Star Trek relaunch in 188 countries, excluding the U.S. and Canada. Each new episode will be available globally on Netflix within 24 hours of its American premiere.
Additionally, every episode of every other Star Trek series - from the William Shatner original to the most recent Star Trek: Enterprise - will be available on the service by the end of 2016.

In the U.S., Star Trek will have a special premiere on the CBS network in January 2017. After that, new episodes will be available exclusively on CBS All Access, the network's proprietary streaming service.
Star Trek begins production in September for its January 2017 premiere.
