Billions, a drama series about power politics set in New York City's present-day financial industry, is written and executive-produced by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Ocean's Thirteen), and financial journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin. Neil Burger (Divergent) is directing the pilot and also acting as executive producer. Showtime ordered the pilot from Sorkin last March.
Giamatti will play "hard-charging, politically savvy" U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades, who's on a collision course with Lewis' character, ambitious hedge fund king Bobby "Axe" Axelrod. Maggie Siff and Malin Akerman will co-star.
Billions is set to premiere in 2016. Will you watch?
