Shannen Doherty Is Officially on Board for the Beverly Hills, 90210 Reboot

BH90210, The Fox "reboot" of Beverly Hills, 90210just signed another major player!

Fox has announced that Brenda Walsh herself, Shannen Doherty, has officially joined the meta reboot of the popular '90s series. Unlike many other reboots, this series will star Doherty and her former 90210 co-stars, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling, as themselves 19 years after the teen soap ended. The cast decides to reunite when one of them suggests it's about time they get a 90210 reboot in the works, and the series asks the question, "What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast - whom the whole world watched grow up together - attempts to continue from where they left off?"

The series will sadly have to go on without the dearly departed Luke Perry, whom we learned last month was open to the idea of appearing in the series, but couldn't have signed on as a regular due to his commitment to The CW's Riverdale.
