ABC has announced that it will air two episodes of Scrubs and Better Off TedTuesday, Jan. 5 and Tuesday, Jan. 12, according to the network's programming calendar. Scrubs will air at 8/7c and 9/8c, followed by Better Off Ted at 8:30/7:30c and 9:30/8:30c.

On Friday, Jan. 1, ABC will also air a new episode of Scrubs in between two new segments of Ted following the Rose Bowl game. This increased airtime does not bode well for the shows' longevity. By Jan. 12, both shows will have aired 11 of their 13 ordered episodes, meaning both could be off the schedule by the end of the month.
Both comedies have suffered from declining ratings. Scrubs' most recent episode brought in only 4.2 million viewers and a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49. Better Off Ted's latest mustered 3.1 million viewers and a 1.3 rating.
