Scott Porter Nabs Lead in CW's Nomads

Friday Night Lightsalum Scott Porter has been cast in the CW pilot Nomads, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

CW picks up Hayden Panettiere- and Tom Welling-produced pilots

The drama follows a group of backpackers who pick up random jobs from the CIA to finance their travels. As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Porter will play John, a college grad who just won't give up on the search for his missing brother.

Numb3rs' Ken Sanzel will executive-produce the series.
