NBC Nabs Sarah Silverman Comedy Pilot

NBC has committed to produce a pilot from Sarah Silverman, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project, roughly based on her life, will star Silverman as a woman adjusting to singlehood after a decadelong relationship. (Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel dated for five years.)

Dan Sterling and Jon Schroeder, who co-wrote Comedy Central's defunct Sarah Silverman Project, will co-write the script along with Silverman. 20th Century Fox and Brian Grazer and Ron Howard's Imagine TV are behind the project as well.
