Sanctuary has been renewed for a fourth season, Syfy announced Tuesday.

Production on the 13-episode season will start in the spring with an eye for a fall premiere.Sanctuary, which stars Amanda Tapping as the leader of a team that protects creatures with extraordinary powers, is currently in the middle of its 20-episode third season. The second half of Season 3 will air this spring.
