SALLY FIELD JOINS ER
Sally Field will appear in six episodes of NBC's ER next season playing the estranged mother of Maura Tierney's character. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Field will appear in three consecutive episodes in November and return later in the season for three more. "Sally Field was our first thought for this role after we worked out a really big arc for Maura's character and her mother," executive producer Jack Orman told the trade paper. "We're excited to work with her."
