TV's witchiest show returns to WGN America Halloween week
The Devil is alive.
That's the thesis statement of the Season 3 trailer for WGN America's horror series Salem, which returns Halloween week with more atmospheric chills and bloody scares.
The trailer, released Wednesday in advance of Salem's panel at San Diego Comic Con this Friday, tells us that "everything in Salem has gone to hell" after the witches brought the Devil to Earth to remake the New World in his image, with Salem as its capital. But Lucifer has his own plans, and the only person who can stop him is the witch who birthed him, Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery), who may not be as dead as we previously believed...

Montgomery and Shane West return for Season 3, which will also feature previously announced guest star Marilyn Manson, who will play Thomas Dinley, Salem's barber and surgeon.
No premiere date has been announced for Salem beyond the week of Halloween, but more will be revealed. Be patient, coven.
