After weeks of wall-to-wall media coverage, the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton will take place Friday.

The nuptials will start at 11 a.m. local London time, meaning 6 a.m. EST/ 3 a.m. PST. More than 1,900 guests are expected to attend.

The ceremony, which is expected to draw more than one million visitors in addition to millions of viewers around the world, will take place at Westminster Abbey in London. It will be followed by the couple's procession from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace at 7:15 EST/ 4:15. EST. Prince William and his new wife will then appear on the Palace balcony alongside the queen and their families at 8:25 EST/ 5:25 EST. Their private reception at the Palace will then start at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. EST.
