2014 Grammys: Red carpet arrivals

There are few details available about the hour-long program, but Farrow, a former Barack Obama foreign policy official, will likely bring a global perspective to the series — and hopefully, as any of his Twitter followers know, his noted sense of humor and pop culture savvy.

The network also announced that MSNBC contributor and TheGrio.com editor Joy Reid will host a news program following Farrow's series at 2 p.m. In addition, Andrea Mitchell Reports will move to noon and NewsNation With Tamron Hall will shift to 11 a.m.
