In the January 2008 issue of Vanity Fair, Heigl infamously said that she found the Judd Apatow comedy "a little sexist" because it "paints the women as shrews." But Heigl's latest cinematic offering, The Ugly Truth — in which her morning show producer must endure a series of tests about romance by Gerard Butler's chauvinistic correspondent — doesn't put women in a better light, according to Rogen and Apatow."That [movie] looks like it really puts women on a pedestal in a beautiful way," Rogen sniped on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show Thursday.Quipped his Funny People director Apatow: "I hear there's a scene where she's wearing ... underwear ... with a vibrator in it, so I'd have to see if that was uplifting for women."The two, whose Funny People goes up against The Ugly Truth this weekend, said they were surprised by Heigl's remarks since they didn't have any disagreements during production. "We never had a fight. ... She could not have been cooler," said Apatow, who thinks the actress may have "slipped a little bit" after a long day of interviews. "Seth always says it doesn't make any sense [because] she improvised half her sh--."

While Heigl later said she was "disheartened" her comments became "the focus of my experience with the movie," she has not apologized to Apatow, he said. Nor have the two spoken since. "[You think] at some point I'll get a call saying, 'Sorry, I was tired...' and then the call never comes."Though Apatow and Rogen are still irked by Heigl's comments, Rogen said he doesn't take them personally."I've got to say it's not like we're the only people she said some batsh-- crazy things about," he said. "That's kind of her bag now." TVGuide.com's calls to Heigl's rep were not immediately returned.
