Rita Moreno Joins Amy Poehler's NBC Pilot

Rita Moreno will star opposite Natasha Lyonne in NBC's comedy pilot from Amy Poehler, Deadline reports.

Old Soul tells the story of reformed party girl Nadia (Lyonne), who runs an elderly care business. Moreno will play one of Nadia's clients, Rita, a flamboyant Broadway vet who's been happily married to her writing partner/husband for more than 50 years.

The single-camera comedy is co-created and executive-produced by Poehler, Josh Bycel and Jonathan Fener. David Wain will direct the pilot.

Moreno, who recently received a lifetime achievement award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, is one of 11 people to have earned an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and a Tony.
