Ricki Lake Gets Engaged

Ricki Lake is engaged to Christian Evans, the actress and ex-talk show host announced on Twitter Thursday.

"Thrilled to share some happy news with you," Lake, 42, wrote, linking to a picture of her and Evans. "I'm engaged!"

This will be Lake's second marriage. She was previously married to artist Rob Sussman for nine years before the couple split in 2003. They have two sons together — 14-year-old Milo and 10-year-old Owen.

Lake, whose first talk show ran from 1993 to 2004, is currently developing a new daytime series that would launch in fall of 2012, according to Broadcasting & Cable. She most recently hosted the VH1 reality series Charm School in 2009.
