NBC's singing-talent show also scored a 5.6 rating among advertiser-coveted 18-to-49-year-olds Tuesday night, a week after debuting to 11.77 million people and a 5.1 rating. Excluding sports, the 5.6 rating is NBC's highest in the period since Nov. 29, 2005, when the network aired The Biggest Loser and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

At 9/8c, The Voice's first hour placed a solid third in viewership (12.08 million) to Dancing with the Stars'results program (15.60 million) on ABC and a fresh episode of NCIS: Los Angeles (14.05 million) on CBS, while nearly doubling the demo rating (5.4) of those two shows (2.9 each). Fox's Raising Hope drew 4.91 million viewers, and the CW's Hellcats managed 969,000. At 9:30, Traffic Light stopped 2.98 million.
The Voice's 12.68 million viewers during the 10 o'clock hour edged the 12.26 million for The Good Wife, while Body of Proof got 10.39 million.

All told, NBC is enjoying a revival on Tuesday nights. The network won the demo competition easily with a 4.6 rating, and had even more viewers (10.70 million) than last week (10.34 million).
Prime time's first hour was won by a new NCISon CBS (17.32 million viewers). On ABC, a Dancing recap hourpulled in 9.27 million people vs. Gleeon Fox (8.61 million),The Biggest Loser: Couples (7.35 million) and the CW's One Tree Hill (1.24 million).
