Ratings: NCIS Returns to Season Low; Cougar Town Up Slightly

NCIS returned Tuesday from its three-week break to a season low, while Cougar Town saw its best numbers in a month.
The drama drew 18.6 million viewers and a 3.3 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic — its lowest rating all season — but, as usual, it was still the night's top show. NCIS: Los Angeles (16.06 million, 2.8) also slipped to tie its season low, but Unforgettable (11.32 million, 2.1) inched up two-tenths to give CBS the win.

New Girl's new roommate?

Despite facing off against a fresh NCIS, Cougar Town (4.61 million, 1.6) enjoyed double-digit growth in both measures to post its best numbers since its Feb. 14 season premiere. The River (3.98 million, 1.4) finale followed with a small bump in the demo, but Cougar Town lead-in Last Man Standing (7.04 million, 1.9) fell to a series low.Fox suffered the most blows with its entire comedy block hitting season lows.In its second week, Fashion Star (4.86 million, 1.8) was up 7 and 13 percent, respectively.8 p.m.
