Ratings: Did 90210 Score Good Grades?

The numbers are in, and the much-awaited/-hyped arrival of the new 90210 gave the CW its highest-rated premiere ever in the adults 18-49 demo.In terms of total viewers, the sex-ucational adventures of Annie, Dixon, Naomi & Co. — with a bit of old-school Kelly, Nat and Brenda sprinkled in — averaged 4.9 million across its two-hour run. Those numbers represent a 40-percent better bow than Gossip Girl enjoyed a year ago. Opposite the kids of West Bev, America's Got Talent (10 million viewers) slipped a mil, while Big Brother put up a typical 6.5 mil.
