Minds drew 12.3 million viewers and a 2.8 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up a tenth, while CSI followed with 11 million and a 2.1, growing two tenths. Survivor: Blood vs. Water (10.1 million, 2.4) was down a tenth.
Fall TV Report Card: How's the new class doing?
Modern Family (10 million, 3.3) was the top-rated show of the night, but dropped half a point to a season low and its lowest rating since its first season. The rest of ABC's comedies were also down, but Nashville (5.6 million, 1.6) grew a tenth.
On NBC, Revolution's fall finale (5.2 million, 1.4) hit a series low and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (5.9 million, 1.6) was even.
Elsewhere, The X Factor (5.5 million, 1.6) and Arrow (2.5 million, 0.9) both dipped, and The Tomorrow People (1.7 million, 0.6) was on par with last week.
