Ratings: Fans of Criminal Minds Act Alike

Fans of Criminal Minds were of one mind Wednesday night, leading CBS to a sweep in the 18-to-49 demographic.

Some 14.2 million viewers (3.5 rating) tuned in at 9/8c — enough to win the night, but down 8 percent from its last new episode. It was preceded by Survivor: Nicaragua (12.2 million, 3.6) and followed by The Defenders (10.5 million, 2.0).

Modern Family posted a season low (11 million viewers, 4.1) dropping 15 percent lower than its last original show) but still ranked first for Wednesday in the demo.

A new episode of Cougar Townscored 6.5 million (2.6).

The Middle ran a strong second to Survivor, with 8.8 million (2.5), while Fox's Human Target attracted a 1.6. CW's repeat of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which first ran Nov. 30 on CBS, managed a 1.3 with its target audience of woman aged 18-34.

Ratings: A happy tune for The Sing-Off, thin ice for Skating With the Stars

The Sing-Off, which aired from 8 to 10, scored a 2.6 — 7 percent lower than Monday's premiere — and 8.1 million viewers by the end of its two hours. Hell's Kitchen drew 5.3 million (2.3).

At 10, reruns of Modern Family and Cougar Town drew a 1.9 and 1.3, respectively, while a repeat of Law & Order: SVU mustered a 1.8.
