The drama drew 2.9 million, up 14 percent from the Season 4 opener, making it the most-watched episode ever. The show was also up 34 percent in the adults 18-to-49 demographic to 1.9 million viewers.

Meanwhile, USA's highly-anticipated Political Animals debuted to a soft 2.6 million viewers, with 834,000 in the demo.
