Wednesday's two-hour show on Fox put up an 8 rating among 18-to-49-year-olds, the industry's advertiser-coveted demo — 36 percent more than the other four networks combined. And it was even up compared with last year's equivalent show, which drew 23.5 million.

In prime time's first hour, CBS' Survivor: Redemption Island— which featured the early jettisoning of Russell Hantz — attracted 10.9 million people. Also at 8/7c, back-to-back repeats of ABC's The Middleaveraged 5.1 million viewers, while Minute to Win It won over 3.5 million on NBC and the CW's America's Next Top Model, 2.3 million.
Survivor pulls a shocker in Redemption Island duel
At 9/8c, reruns of Criminal Minds,Modern Familyand Law & Order: Special Victims Unit totaled viewerships of 8.2 million, 6.2 million and 3.2 million, respectively, while a fresh Shedding for the Wedding attracted 1 million. At9:30/8:30c, Mr. Sunshine tumbled to a series low of 4.7 million.
At 10/9c, CBS' Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior scared up nearly 9.1 million viewers. It won against yet another rerun of L&O:SVU (5.3 million viewers) and a first-run episode of ABC's Off the Map (4.3 million).
