Real Housewives' Ramona Singer Splits From Husband Mario (Again)

Another Real Housewives couple is calling it quits.

Longtime Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer announced Thursday that she is splitting from her husband of 22 years, Mario.

"I have decided to move on with my life without Mario," she tweeted Thursday. "I tried my best to make my marriage work. I am excited for the new chapter in my life."

Shocking celebrity breakups

The news is not too surprising considering that the couple first split in January shortly after allegations surfaced that Mario had cheated on her with another woman. Ramona denied the rumors, but The New York Post reported that she had filed for divorce that same month. The couple, who are parents to 19-year-old Avery, were spotted together again a month later.

Since their brief split, Ramona was reluctant to discuss the details of their marital troubles. On Tuesday's episode of the Real Housewives of New York City reunion, Ramona refused to open up about their issues with host Andy Cohen. "It's a personal matter. I want this closed down," the normally candid reality star said.

Ramona's announcement comes one day afterInTouch published new photos of Mario and his alleged mistress together again.
