President and Michelle Obama Returning to Oprah

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will appear on the May 2 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The Obamas will return to their hometown of Chicago to sit down with Oprah Winfrey on April 27. This is their first joint appearance on Oprah since 2006, before his election to the White House.

Winfrey has interviewed Obama, whom she publicly supported during the 2008 election, on multiple occasions, including a primetime Christmas special.

The news comes on the heels of a report that a commercial during the May 25 Oprah finale will cost a whopping $1 million per 30-seconds.
