No More Blurred Lines: Paula Patton Officially Files for Divorce from Robin Thicke

Paula Patton doesn't want Robin Thicke back.

According to TMZ, Patton has filed for divorce from her high school sweetheart citing irreconcilable differences. Patton has asked for joint legal and physical custody of their son Julian and court documents cite the date of separation as February 21.

In February, the couple, who married in 2005, released a statement saying, "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time." The news came a few months after Thicke's scandalous performance with Miley Cyrus at the 2013 Video Music Awards, although his wife defended him at the time.

Following the initial break-up, Thicke seemed to take a downward spiral. At June's BET Awards, the singer debuted his new song — titled "Get Her Back" from his newest album titled Paula — and opened the performance by dedicating it to her saying, "I miss you, I'm sorry." Things got worse when a copy of Thicke's deposition from a lawsuit revealed he didn't give one sober interview in 2013 and that he admitted he was separated from Patton because he's "a liar."
