Cheers to the gals
Today is Valentine's Day, but if you're a fan of Parks and Recreation, you might've found Feb. 13 to be the more important holiday occasion of the season.
That's right, Wednesday was Galentine's Day, the annual celebration that Leslie Knope spearheaded every year to bring all the ladies together with some love and thoughtful prizes as they all sipped on mimosas, supped on frittatas and celebrated the general awesomeness of gals.

The holiday became an annual tradition of the show, and it looks like it's also become a yearly must for the stars of the show in real life, too!
Aubrey Plaza, who portrayed our favorite grouch April Ludgate on Parks, shared a photo of herself having some fun with co-stars Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones on Galentine's Day, and the image is enough to warm even the coldest, deadest hearts that hate all-things-gushy about this time of year.
It's not the first time these three have gotten together to celebrate Galentine's Day either.
Last year, they were joined by Kathryn Hahn, who played Leslie's frenemy and political adviser Jen Barkley in the later seasons of the show. When Plaza shared the proof of their reunion last year, she captioned the snap, "these women keep me alive." What she neglected to mention there, however, was how these gals were giving us all life.
Parks and Recreation is available for streaming on Netflix.
