Nia Vardalos Joins The Catch

Nia Vardalos has joined Shonda Rhimes' newest drama, The Catch.

According to Deadline, the My Big Fat Greek Weddingstar will appear in a recurring role. Although her role is unconfirmed, Vardalos will reportedly play Leah Wells, "a neurotic but formidable counterfeiter."

The actress previously worked with Rhimes when she guest-starred on Grey's Anatomyin 2012.

The Catch, which stars Mireille Enos as a private investigator who gets conned by her fiancé (Peter Krause), airs Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
