Netflix's new TV show and movies releases in May are packed with romance. Fans of Judy Blume will be thrilled to know that an adaptation of the author's Forever is coming early in the month, and none other than Regina King directed the first episode. Also swoon-worthy is the drama The Royals, which tells the unlikely love story between a Prince Charming figure and a girlboss. If you aren't familiar with Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar now, you will be after watching this vibrant romance.

But one of our most anticipated series of the month is more about the end of romance. In the star-studded comedy The Four Seasons, one couple's divorce shakes up the dynamics between a group of decades-long friends. Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, and Will Forte are just some of the actors in the series. And for something new that looks like it might generate a lot of buzz, the new series Sirens, from Maid creator Molly Smith Metzler, follows one woman's (Meghann Fahy) quest to figure out what's going on with her younger sister's (Milly Alcock) weird obsession with her billionaire boss (Julianne Moore).

When it comes to movies, the newsiest addition to the streamer in May is theTwilightsaga. If you've never watched the films based on Stephenie Meyer's vampire fantasy series of the same name, now's your chance. We told you Netflix's May boasts plenty of romance, right?

Here are the shows and movies coming to Netflix in May — as well as what's leaving.

The Four Seasons (May 1)

If you're planning to tune in to The Four Seasons just for its cast, you're certainly not alone. The new comedy based on the 1981 film of the same name features Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, and Erika HenningsenThe Four Seasons follows three married couples whose quarterly weekend getaway is disrupted when one of them shares they're divorcing. [Trailer]

The Devil's Plan Season 2 (May 6)

In Season 1 of this Korean reality competition series, an actor outwitted nearly a dozen competitors across a series of strategy games to become the ultimate winner. Now, a new group of participants enter The Devil's Plan — from renowned Go player Lee Se-dol to K-pop phenom Super Junior's Kyuhyun to actor Justin H. Min — for the opportunity to take home a cash prize. If you're a board game enthusiast or love playing Mafia at every social gathering, this show that's a battle of wits and intelligence is made for you. [Trailer]

Forever (May 8)

An adaptation of Judy Blume's book of the same name, Mara Brock Akil's Forever moves the story to Los Angeles in 2018, where two young athletes fall for each other. The series is executive produced by Regina King, who also directed the first episode, and stars Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper Jr. as the lead characters, Keisha Clark and Justin Edwards, respectively. The trailer promises excitement, agony, confusion, passion — all the feelings that come with first love. [Trailer]

The Royals (May 9)

The Royals is here to fill the Bridgerton- and enemies-to-lovers-shaped holes in your heart. In this steamy drama, two of India's biggest stars, Ishaan Khatter (you may remember him from The Perfect Couple) and Bhumi Pednekar, play an entitled prince and a self-made entrepreneur. They couldn't be more different — and Sophia (Pednekar) knows better than to get close to the royal family — but something keeps pulling them together. [Trailer]

Sirens (May 22)

Movies and shows about rich socialites hiding a more sinister motive abound, and that trend continues with Sirens, a dark comedy from Maid's Molly Smith MetzlerMeghann Fahy stars as a woman concerned about her sister's (Milly Alcock) unusual relationship with her boss (Julianne Moore), and things come to a head during a weekend retreat on a lavish beach resort. Kevin Bacon and Glenn Howerton also star. -Tim Surette
