New ESPN Unlimited
ESPNFor the first time, all of ESPN's offerings will be available to stream as part of the newly launched ESPN Unlimited. Sure, ESPN+ has been out there, but ESPN+ didn't have the full suite of ESPN networks and live streaming the way that ESPN Unlimited does. And as a welcome to the family, you can get it as part of the Disney+ Bundle with Hulu for as little as $29.99/month for 12 months. Do you still need ESPN+? How do you get access to ESPN Unlimited and what does it cost? We'll answer all of your questions in the guide below.
ESPN Unlimited is ESPN's first comprehensive streaming service, giving you access to all of ESPN's linear networks, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, SECN, ACCN, ESPN+ (now ESPN Select, more on that below), ESPN on ABC, SECN+, ACCNX, and ESPN3. So yes, you'll have the ability to watch franchises like SportsCenter, College GameDay, First Take, and of course streaming of NFL, NBA, WNBA, and more. At launch, ESPN Unlimited costs $29.99/month, but why pay $29.99/month for just ESPN Unlimited, when you can get Disney+ and Hulu as part of the package for the same price?
As we just mentioned, as part of the excitement around the launch of ESPN Unlimited, you can get it as part of the new Disney+ Bundle alongside Disney+ and Hulu. While that would normally cost $35.99/month, they're giving it to you for $29.99/month for the first year. Each service will have ads, but hey, ads are a great opportunity to refill that snack bowl. Plus you're pretty much getting Disney+ and Hulu for free there, so that's a win.
Hard no on the ads? You can get the Premium version of that plan for $44.99/month, but remember that most of the ESPN linear channels will have ads, so ad-free will mostly apply to Disney+ and Hulu.
ESPN+ will continue to live on under the new name of ESPN Select. You can still get it as a standalone (starting at $11.99/month) or as part of the Disney+ Bundle alongside Disney+ and Hulu for $16.99/month. ESPN Select will have the NHL, tennis, LALIGA, Bundesliga, NWSL, some of the ESPN Originals and more.
