NCIS' Michael Weatherly Joins Dr. Phil Pilot Bull

Michael Weatherly has already lined up his first post-NCIS job, and he won't even be leaving CBS.

Weatherly, who will be leaving NCISat the end of the season, has joined the CBS pilot Bull, a drama based on the early career of self-help guru Dr. Phil McGraw, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bull, which will be written by Dr. Phil himself, along with House's Paul Attanasio, is inspired by McGraw's pre-fame career as a legal defense consultant. According to THR, Weatherly will play Dr. Bull, the head of a company that analyzes juries. Dr. Bull "has a physicality and feral intelligence that makes him magnetic to women, and a bruising candor." These are not words that anyone other than Dr. Phil would use to describe Dr. Phil, but Dr. Phil is writing this himself.
