Homeland's Jamey Sheridan to Play McGee's Father on NCIS

Jamey Sheridan sure likes to play dad this TV season. 

The Homelandstar has been tapped as McGee's father on NCIS, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

As first reported by TVLine.com, Sheridan will play Admiral John McGee, whom showrunner Gary Glasberg calls "complex and layered with some real surprises thrown in."

Sheridan, who will appear in an episode slated for March, previously played Vice President (and father!) Walden on Homeland, as well as Oliver Queen's father on Arrow. His previous credits include Traumaand Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
