NBC is pumped for its schedule this winter, and it has nothing to do with Brilliant Minds, St. Denis Medical, or anything going on in Chicago. Nope, this February, NBC is all about live sports, with two of the biggest events of the year happening within days of each other. On Friday, Feb. 6, the world says ciao to the XXV Olympic Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, and on Sunday, Feb. 8, most of America will be watching Super Bowl LX from Santa Clara, Calif., the home of the San Francisco 49ers. It should be one of TV's all-time greatest weekends for a single network's TV ratings.

Elsewhere, it's business as usual when programs return from winter breaks beginning Monday, Jan. 5, with some season premieres sprinkled in, like The Wall returning on Mondays and Season 2 of The Hunting Party airing with the Law & Order shows on Wednesdays. NBC's new partnership with the NBA continues on Tuesday nights and adds Sunday nights as the NFL season winds down.

The only new NBC series debuting this winter is The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, a comedy starring Tracy Morgan as a former football player looking to rehabilitate his image with the help of a filmmaker (Daniel Radcliffe). That has a special premiere on Sunday, Jan. 18, after NFL playoff football and returns Monday, Feb. 23, with back-to-back episodes.
