NBC Renews Hannibal and About a Boy

NBC has renewed Hannibal and About a Boy, TVGuide.com has learned.

The renewal brings Hannibal, currently in its second season, one step closer to fulfilling creator Bryan Fuller's seven-season plan, which will eventually tackle Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs. 

Jason Katims' About a Boy, which stars David Walton and Minnie Driver and premiered after the Olympics in February, will return for its second season.

Hannibal and About a Boy join previously renewed NBC shows Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Grimm, The Blacklist and Parks and Recreation.
