Netflix's drug drama is moving to a new nation this season
Narcos, Netflix's reliably solid crime drama, is heading north for Season 4, which will arrive on the streaming Narcos has been rebooted as Narcos: Mexico, and will tell the true story of the rise of the Guadalajara cartel in the '80s.
Rogue One's Diego Luna plays Félix "El Padrino" Gallardo, who unites a loose, disorganized network of traffickers into an empire, and End of Watch's Michael Peña plays DEA agent Kiki Camarena, who's assigned to Guadalajara and is in for a bigger job than he ever imagined. What happens shapes the drug trade and the war against it into what it is today.
The sleek, sexily-edited teaser is heavy on the pulse-pounding action that Narcos fans fiend for. It's a new story, but it's the same show.
Narcos: Mexico premieres Friday, Nov. 16 only on Netflix.
