VIDEO: Naomi and Wynonna Judd Respond to Ashley's Sexual Abuse Claims on The View

Ashley Judd wasn't the only Judd family member who was a victim of sexual abuse growing up. "I grew up in a family of secrets," Naomi Judd said on The View Thursday.

Both Naomi and her other daughter Wynonna Judd discussed how they were also victims of sexual abuse but were too ashamed to talk about it until now. The country music duo will be sharing family secrets and their life on tour on the new docu-series The Judds, which premieres on Sunday at 9/8c on OWN.

Ashley Judd: I was a victim of sexual abuse and incest

Naomi said that her first memory was of being abused but she only told her therapist about it two years ago. Sitting beside her, Wynonna said that they're speaking out now because "I am so sick and tired of the problem being discussed on TV. I want to be part of the solution."

"The veil has been lifted," she added. "There are no more secrets. We can now live in truth."

Although both singers expressed love for Ashley, who was not present on The View with them, neither had read her memoir All That's Bitter & Sweet, in which she first revealed the abuse.

"I've been on tour with this Judd," said Wynonna, indicating her mother.
