Celebrities encouraging donations for Haitian relief efforts
The two-hour, commercial-free special — on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH1 and CMT — will be headlined by George Clooney in Los Angeles, Wyclef Jean in New York and Anderson Cooper in Haiti.
The broadcast will feature musical performances and celebrity appearances, which will be announced before the event as well as news reports from CNN.

Facebook and MySpace have signed on as official social media partners to the telethon, and all proceeds will be split evenly among Oxfam America, Partners in Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF and Yele Haiti Foundation (www.yele.org— text to give at 501501).
