Morgan Freeman and his wife of the past 24 years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee, "are involved in a divorce action," the actor's attorney, Bill Luckett, tells Access Hollywood. This news of course comes just days after Freeman and female friend Demaris Meyer were involved in a late-night car accident on Mississippi Highway 32.Freeman's attorney goes on to note that "for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and his wife] have been separated since December of 2007." When contacted by TVGuide.com, Freeman's publicist, Donna Lee, said she was unable to confirm or deny the report. A call into Luckett's office has yet to be returned.Freeman, 71, and Meyer, 48, were reportedly en route to the actor's home in Charleston, Miss., when the car Freeman was driving veered off the road, went airborne and ultimately flipped.
